Welcome to McCormick Ranch, a community located in central Scottsdale, Arizona! This is considered one of the most walkable communities in the area, and today I’m going to explain everything it has to offer.

This community has been around since the 70s, with incredible architecture that combines everything Arizona has to offer. You’ll truly see desert/southwest vibe. You will find options from single-family houses, condos, townhouses, and even apartments with price ranges in the $300s all the way up to $2.5M.

The first thing I have to point out is how great the location is. McCormick Ranch is only 5 minutes away from Kierland Golf Club and the Scottsdale Quarter. It’s also located only 15 minutes away from Scottsdale Airport and around 25 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport.

McCormick Ranch is also located centrally to some very desirable amenities. It has its own shopping center with an array of retail and dining options to choose from. Then of course there’s also the McCormick Ranch Golf Club and a hotel for visitors.

Speaking of visitors, there are plenty of incredible resorts and hotels in the area to accommodate guests you may have.

If you love to get outside and be active, McCormick Ranch offers residents a 25-mile greenbelt that is a great option for walking, running, and biking.

Okay, let’s talk about some other things we have here.

The Passeo Village shopping center is located east of McCormick Ranch and offers some big restaurants like The Vig, Luci’s, and some other wonderful experiences for those who love food.

Another great shopping center is Mercado, which also offers everything you need from coffee in the morning to dinner at night. A few local favorites are Butters, Phoenix Brewery, Grassroots, and Agave for a Mexican fusion experience.

Now, let’s talk a little more about the McCormick Ranch Golf Club. This club was established in 1972 by Desmond Muirhead, and it offers a wonderful experience with amazing staff and an amazing community. There are also places to host weddings and you can even host your own golf tournament!

For families with kids, the Stillman Railroad Park is a staple here. This is an area where huge holiday parties are held. They go all-out for Halloween decorations and Christmas lights every year. There’s a merry-go-round and lots of areas for families to have birthday parties for their kids.

Since the McCormicks donated 30 acres to the McCormick Ranch community, it’s been a wonderful lasting trademark here within the city and the community itself, so my recommendation is to take a tour, and visit this area first to get to know it better before moving.
